2023 Mpact Leadership Program

LEADERSHIP
Leadership is the foundation of the MPact summer intern program. We seek individuals who want to make a positive impact on their communities by committing to continuous learning and growing. The MPact leadership program will provide opportunities for interns to develop leadership skills through communication with other interns and office staff, personal department projects, and new intern initiatives.
PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The MPact leadership program is more than just a summer internship. We want to provide interns with the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally by reflecting on their past experiences, understanding their unique wiring and strengths, and evaluating their future career goals. We do this through weekly lunch & learns, intern book study, and department work which all focus on enriching the intern experience by equipping students with practical knowledge and empowerment through inspirational lessons.
MENTORSHIP
Mentorship is at the heart of the MPact Leadership program. Each intern will be paired with a mentor within their specific department to develop one-on-one relationships with team members. Mentors encourage and advise interns by sharing their own experiences and guide them through the day-to-day functions of their role. Interns will also have opportunities to learn from and form relationships with MPact business executives who provide valuable feedback and advice to interns.
SERVICE
MPact values giving back to the community that surrounds and supports us. Interns are provided with opportunities to reach out to underserved communities through an international mission trip, volunteering at local food banks, and serving with other organizations focused on community philanthropy and engagement.
COMMUNITY & BONDING
The MPact Leadership program will connect interns with a community that cares about them and wants to support them in any way possible to make it the best summer experience. Interns will have the opportunity to cultivate real relationships with office staff, guest speakers, past intern alum, and other summer interns who will be their biggest supporters and encouragers. This internship is also filled with fun, bonding experiences where interns get to connect, grow, and make life-long memories that make this summer like none other.
